A large blue and white transfer printed platter by John Rogers & Son. Circa 1820. It has a floral border which surround the central bucolic view featuring fishermen on a river bank and men in a boat. There is a cathedral in distance (possibly Canterbury Cathedral) . One of Rogers’ “Views Series” but an unknown view. It measures 19″ x 14″. It has an impressed “ROGERS” mark. The platter is nice and bright with no damage.
