Ref: B765a
Date: 1820
Quantity: a set
Dimensions: various
Price: $1550

An early 19th century English porcelain part dessert service, hand painted in the Imari taste. It includes three square dishes 8.25″, five plates 8.5″ in diameter, two oval dishes 11.25″ long and a shell dish 9.5″ long. Made in Staffordshire circa 1820. (The shapes of the pieces look like Spode).
Some damage. General wear and a few nibbles. Three plates have star cracks in the glaze on their rear. There is a small crack to the edge of the shell dish. This is a fabulous hand painted set, incredibly decorative and a rare pattern.
