A set of four early John Rose 19th century Coalport soup bowls in the Finger and Thumb pattern. Circa 1800 – 1810. Each piece having hand painted floral decoration with cobalt and gilt details and decoration to the underside. Each measures 9.75″ in diameter.
There is no maker’s mark. One bowl has a 3″ hairline crack on the back edge, which is not life threatening. Otherwise the bowls are in in good condition, nice and bright with very little wear.
