A very large collection of unmarked English porcelain dinner wares in a very attractive pattern. Circa 1870. It includes
fifteen dinner plates 9.75” diameter, eleven soup bowls approx. 10” diameter, eight side plates, 7.75”, (one with small edge chip)
diameter, two 11” platters, two 12.5” platters, one 14.75” platter and one 16.75” platter and a large covered
vegetable dish, all of which are in sound condition. There are an additional two damaged pieces. A second vegetable dish (not pictured)
whose lid has been broken into two and re-glued and a very impressive twin handled large
soup tureen and cover which has been cracked and repaired, 12” high and 13.5” long,
The two damaged piece both display very well.
Each piece shows pattern number 1678 but no makers mark. (Copeland used the same pattern in the
1880’s on sets of their dinner plates).
