A 19th century Staffordshire porcelain dessert service, all pieces with hand-painted decoration of country scenes and shaped green rims with heightened gilt work. Circa 1850. It consists of six footed comports, three low, 2.5″ high and three higher, 4.75″ inches high together with fifteen plates. All pieces are approx. 9″ in diameter. There are no makers marks nor pattern numbers. One large comport has its leg attached with a brass pin but it looks good. There is a little wear and scratching and rubbing, commensurate with age and usage, but no chips nor cracks nor other damage noted. A great looking set.
