An early Derby circular sauce tureen, circa 1810, the side and lid and base decorated with a central display of flowers within a blue border decorated with gilt and four cartouches each again displaying a floral decoration. It measures 8″ high, 7″ across the handles and the base is 7.5″ in diameter. It shows the red Derby crown, crossed swords and “D” mark on the underside. It is nice and bright. I does have a 1.5″ spider crack on the inside otherwise no damage noted.
