A Derby porcelain part dessert service, circa 1805, decorated with two colour red flowers and trailing gilt branches. It Consists of :
a comport, 13.5″ wide and 6″ high, 2 x 16″ platters, 3 x 9″ plates, 2 x 11″ diamond dishes, 2 x 11.5″ oval dishes, 2 x 9.75″ shell dishes and 2 x 14″ quarter-circle dishes with lids. Each piece shows the derby crown, crossed swords and D iron red painted factory mark. There is no damage to these pieces save for some rubbing to the gilding , consistent with age and usage.
