A pair of late Caughley early John Rose sauce tureens, lids and bases in the finger and thumb pattern, circa 1800 – 1810. There is rubbing to the gilt edges, the rest of the gilding seems OK. No other chips, cracks or crazing noted although I believe there is a mall repaired chip on one base, although I can’t spot it. There is no maker’s mark.
