A pair of York minster relief molded jugs with metal lids. These smear-glazed
stoneware jugs were made by Charles Meigh, circa 1846. They are in the apostle form,
elaborately and crisply molded, showing scenes of a woman with children. They stand
approx. 9″ high. Each has a maker’s mark and a registration diamond. One is titled “Minster
Jug, the other ‘York Minster Jug”. Great condition, no damage noted.
