A mustard yellow slip decorated redware charger (or shallow bowl) with green sponge decoration and a sgraffito image of a pigeon on a branch. Made by the Lester Breininger, the famous Pennsylvania Dutch redware potter. Signed on back “L B Breininger, Robesonia, Pa , 1971 . It measures 14″ in diameter and stands about 2” high. Great condition, no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing.
