An Ashworth Real Ironstone China soup tureen cover and tray, circa 1880 in the Butterfly and Dragon pattern, pattern number 3/1605. It stands 9″ high and measures 15″ across the handles. The base is 11″ long. It shows the Ashworth’s printed and impressed marks. The soup tureen body has a small spider crack in its foot, the underside of the under-tray shows some wear, otherwise it is in good condition.
