A large ironstone green transfer printed tree and well meat platter decorated in the Chantillian pattern. Made by Read and Clementson in Staffordshire, circa 1834, it measures 21.5″ long by 18″ wide. It shows the maker’s initials and the pattern name on the rear. It has a hard to spot slight smudge of wear on its surface otherwise it is in fine condition.
