A Victorian 12 piece ironstone part dessert service. Circa 1850. Decorated with a deep red ground and transfer printed floral decoration. It consists of six plates, two footed oblong dishes, three circular footed dishes and a tall comport. There are no maker’s marks but it’s probably made by John Ridgway. Each piece shows pattern number 2/3644. No chips nor cracks. Some slight wear.
