A large blue transfer printed ironstone tree and well platter, decorated with an “Etruscan” pattern, possibly by Herculaneum Pottery, circa 1830. It measures 20″ long by 16.25″ wide. It has no makers mark. It is a rich blue color, with a center showing a reclining Greek lady with her escorts, and a border decorated with Greek figures. It has a crack on the side of one foot, which doesn’t detract, otherwise it is in excellent condition.
