A large Staffordshire blue and white transfer printed pearlware ‘tree and well’ platter showing cattle watering before a castle. It measures 20.5″ long and 16″ wide. Circa 1820. There are no maker’s marks, the maker is unknown. There is a hard to see tiny scratch on the surface otherwise the platter is in really nice condition.
