A large good quality flow blue and white dinner service by Ashworth’s circa 1870, decorated in their “Kiji” Pattern, showing a pheasant on a background of flowers and foliage. Each piece has an printed Ashworth’s crown and banner mark and an impressed mark ‘Ashworth 9/97’ to their bases. It consists of a a soup tureen, a pair of vegetable dishes with undertrays, ten 10.25″ dinner plates, twelve 10.25″ soup plates, twelve 9.25″ dessert plates and ten, 6.75″ side plates. There is a little crazing to a soup plate otherwise the set is in great condition, no damage noted.
