A part Hilditch blue and white tea set in the ‘Eggs in a Basket’ or ‘Eskimo Child’ pattern. (I don’t know what an Eskimo is doing in China). Circa 1827. It consists of: six cups and saucers, two plates and sugar bowl. The plates measure 7.75″ dia, and the bowl is 5.5″ in diameter and stands 2.75″ high. There is a tiny tea stain on the edge of a cup otherwise all pieces are in great condition.
