A set of eight Ashworth Bros. Real Ironstone China good quality soup plates, decorated in the Imari palette. Circa 1870. They measure 10.25″ in diameter.  The pieces show the Ashworth coat of arms mark and the impressed mark “REAL IRONSTONE CHINA”. There is a little rubbing to the gilt otherwise the soup plates are in fine condition.
