A large early 19th Century English blue and white transfer printed ‘ Stone China ‘ soup tureen, lid and undertray by Hicks and Meigh, circa 1818. Decorated with a picture of a fence and a mass of flowers. It shows on the base of each piece the Hicks and Meigh coat of arms mark and pattern number 21. The tray measures 15″ long by 11″ wide. The body 14.5″ long, 9″ wide, and it stands 9.5″ high. It is in great condition, nice and clean and bright with no damage noted.
