19th Century English blue and white transfer printed “Stone China” sauce tureen, and lid by Hicks and Meigh, circa 1818. Decorated with a picture of a fence and a mass of flowers. It stands 6.5″ high and it is 8″ between handles. It shows on the base the Hicks and Meigh coat of arms mark and pattern number 21. Nice condition, wear to the gilt but no other damage noted.
