A high quality imperial Imari pattern ironstone china part dinner service by John Ridgway circa 1845. Each piece decorated with a bright collection of chinoiserie symbols within a heavily gilded blue border containing four cartouches displaying flowers. Each piece shows John Ridgway’s Royal Arms mark with initials J R. It consists of: a 19″ tree and well platter, a 17.5″ platter, a 15.25″ tray/stand, a 13″ platter, 2 X 10.75″ platters, 20 x 10.5″ plates, 8 X 9″ plates, 8 X 8″ plates, 9 X 9″ bowls, 8 x 10.5″ bowls, 2 vegetable tureens and lids, and a sauce tureen and base. The set is in beautiful condition, two of the 9″ bowls and one 10.5″ plate have small edge chips, no other damage noted.
