A brown glazed (treacle glaze) Copeland & Garrett Cadogan type teapot. Circa 1840. A copy of Chinese wine pots made popular by a
Countess Cadogan. (The pot has no lid. It was filled through a hole in the base with tea made in another vessel). The pot measures approx. 6.5″ high. There is an impressed maker’s name on the base. The pot is in excellent condition.
