A parian relief molded dry body jug in the Trellis pattern, glazed inside. Made by Charles Meigh circa 1848. It stands 7.5″ high. This jug was featured in the catalogue of the 1851 great exhibition. On the base there is a raised makers mark which includes the pattern name, pattern number 54487 and a registration diamond for Sept 18, 1848. Nice condition, no damage noted.
