A blue and white transfer printed wash bowl decorated with a classical Etruscan scene. Made by Elkin Knight and Bridgwood of Staffordshire, circa 1830. There is a makers mark printed on the base with the pattern name and the initials “EKB”. The bowl measures 13.75″ in diameter and stands 4.25″ high. There is slight wear to the inside bottom of the bowl, a small chip underneath the top rim and a chip inside the rim on the base. An attractive piece.
