A pair of large blue and white transfer printed platter from “Godwin’s Indian Scenery Series” showing the Tomb of Shere Shah. Made by T & B Godwin of Burslem, circa 1834. They measures 20.25″ long by 17″ wide. They have a makers mark in the form of a cartouche showing the name of the scene and the initials “T&B G”. There is a small edge chip on the front of one platter, the other is in great condition. (see pic).
