A Jasperware cheese dish and cover by Samuel Lear of Staffordshire, 1877 – 86, decorated with classical figures in white relief over the blue ground, the base with a running garland to match the cover. The base has an impressed “LEAR” to the base. The base measures 10.25″ diameter and it stands 9″ high. It is in nice and bright condition, no damage noted.
