An early Coalport (John Rose) platter in the finger and thumb pattern, circa 1800 – 1810. It measures 13.5″ long by 10.25″ wide. There is no maker’s mark. There is rubbing to the gold leaf edge, the rest of the gilding seems OK. No other chips, cracks or crazing noted.
