A large drabware jug by William Ridgway with metal lid, circa 1835. Decorated with a relief molded scenes from Robert Burns’ poem “Tam O’Shanter”. Impressed mark on the base : “Published by W. Ridgway & Co., Patent October 1, 1835”. It stands 10″ high. Good condition, no damage noted.
